It's sad that no matter how the nom and voting systems change, there will always be bitter pills who spend their time bitching at organisers. I wonder where and when the fireworks will start.
Plenty last year made me decide never again. Not worth getting so much grief and bullshit from so many egos. Some people who I thought were well balanced got all upset and claimed fixing and so forth. Life's too short though, so they can clear off and do their own awards.
Well, I hope you told them to f off. The cheek! You're the embodiment of fairplay. Besides, ego petting is not on your job description. I suppose KPMG are supervising this year's counting so forth :)
Damien, I hope this coming year isn't your last. I can't seen many making the effort to drive the Awards for 09 in the same way that you do. I can see why you'd pass on it though.

Maybe I'll agree to sell it this time round. The last crowd wanted to take it and charge 200 quid to nominate.
